Interoperable Data Provision for Every Purpose

The Digital Product Passport provides the necessary information in a reliable, permanent, complete and free manner in both human and machine-readable form.

Based on the CEN/CLC/JTC24 ‘Digital Product Passport’ standards and the ‘data dictionary’ described in the Ecodesign Regulation and the Construction Products Regulation, this information can be accessed in any national language and used for a wide variety of purposes.

The standards ensure that the information contained can always be interpreted in the same way, enabling software systems to work with data from any product or product group without the need for individual adjustments.

The DPP thus follows an interoperability concept based on generic data provision. Implement once, use infinite.
