Publications

The Digital Product Passport is a wide-ranging topic that is shaped by numerous decision-making entities. In addition to the European Commission’s draft regulations and directives as part of the first legislative package for the European Green Deal, various European standardization committees, such as CEN/CENELEC JTC24, are also intensively engaged with the topic.

The intended fast introduction and the enormous significance of the topic for the environment and the economy are prompting various institutions to describe the factors that have already been clarified in detail and to at least announce the elements that remain unresolved.
